Chief Aaron Knotts was hired in April 2001 after serving 6 years as an Air Force firefighter from 1995-2001. He was promoted through the ranks as a lieutenant, captain, assistant chief, and the fire chief in June 2020. He is a fire investigator, certified fire safety inspector, paramedic, and a graduate of the Ohio Fire Chief’s Associations’ Ohio Fire Executive Program.
